As a guideline, we are looking for Niagara developed/designed sites only. E-Niagara Conference and Web Awards reserves the right to reject any submissions for inappropriate content.

1. ARTS AND PORTFOLIO
 

Sites that showcase the works of visual artists, such as painting, photography, graphic design, web design, animation and architectural design.

2. BLOGS
  Weblog/blogs or online journal site(s) of an individual or group.
3. COMMUNITY AND PORTAL

Sites that facilitate group interaction, connectedness and communication around shared interests. 
 

4. EDUCATIONAL
  Sites that are educational, promote education or provide an online curriculum.
5. GOVERNMENT
  Sites providing information and/or services pertaining to government matters. These include sites that offer self-help municipal/regional government information.
6. ORGANIZATIONS
  Sites of organizations that are cause-oriented or not for profit. (Volunteer groups, NGOs, trade or industry associations, foundations etc)
7. CORPORATE/BUSINESS

Site of small, medium and large enterprise across all industries. 

 

8. ECOMMERCE
  Sites that sell physical goods through online ordering and payment facilities (B2C, B2B, online stores, auction sites)
9. TOURISM
  Sites that focus and promote tourism and destinations.
10. STUDENT
 

Sites that are developed, maintained by a student of one of Niagara's educational institutions. (Primary, Secondary or Post Secondary)

 

11. NIAGARA TECHNOLOGY PIONEER
  Recognition to a local individual or Business who has come to be regarded as an "Technology Pioneer" by his/her peers.
